About
Box Bed by Lampolet is a folding single or double bed with slats, a space-saving guest bed that accommodates a 14 cm thick foam or sprung mattress. When closed it only takes up 36 cm, once opened it turns into an 80/90 cm single bed or a 140 cm French double bed, 200 cm long.
The mechanism is fitted with castors for easy manoeuvrability around the house. Opening is quick and easy, thanks to the automatic movement of the legs. Closing is just as easy, facilitated by a self-locking system with no old fashioned fasteners.
The slatted base and comfortable 14 cm deep mattress make Box Bed ideal for frequent use. It can be completed with a cover to go unnoticed and to protect the mechanisms and sleeping area from dust. A perfect addition to hotel rooms and other contract settings, it is also a clever and compact solution for improptu guests at home.
