Duplo by Lampolet is a single bed frame with pull out guest bed under. Made of high-strength metal, with a welded mesh or slatted base, it accommodates sprung or polyurethane foam mattresses height 14 cm. The frame must be completed by a backrest and armrests to obtain a day bed, or with a headboard and footboard to obtain a space-saving bed for kids' bedrooms or guest rooms.
The upper single bed sports a 80 x 190 h.14 cm mattress and it is fitted with a sliding mechanism. Underneath, it is possible to insert a second bed base with a mattress of the same size as the upper one. This makes Duplo a unique trundle bed that allows the two singles to be placed side by side to make a king size bed.
The pull-out bed is equipped with non-marking castors. A convenient handle will help you lifting the trundle mechanism in one motion. Once the extra bed is up and ready to use, the handle turns into a comfortable headboard.
The seat of the sofa is slightly angled by 3 cm for better comfort, but returns perfectly horizontal when the mechanism is in bed position. Thanks to the 190 cm long and 14 cm high mattresses, Duplo can be used on a daily basis, offering excellent support and an extra bed in case of guests.
